Yesterday I was bored, so I made a thing to hang from the hook that is above the bottom of our stairs, which is where I hang our faux mistletoe from every Christmas.
It bothers me that nothing hangs there the rest of the year.
It seems wasteful to take it down after Christmas (bless you 3M corporation for your Command adhesive line) & throw away the adhesive only to have to put it back up again the following year.
So I made this. It is currently hanging in it's spot above the bottom of the stairs. I think it is awesome. I think what is more awesome is the fact that 4 human males not only noticed it without my mentioning, but also complimented/kinda raved about it. (The Chicken had a friend hanging out, so don't think I added another husband, because I haven't. Yet.)

So, there ya go. Now I'm off to (hopefully) bed. Btw, fun fact for ya. The font color of this post matches the current color of my face & eyeballs. No, I'm not drunk (yet, but I am on my way to waving at it from the car window). I just happen to be suffering from a case of (alcohol induced) allergies.
