In an absolutely shocking turn of events, I have absolutely no idea what I'm writing about today. *Giggle*

Anyway as I previously mentioned, I'm sleep deprived this week. This causes muscle tension, headaches & the grouchies. And that's just in my boys. The effects it has on me are those plus an incalculable number of others that make day to day life no fun at all.
However, I have not let that stop me from shaving the soap & making the jars filled with the pretty shaved soap. Yes, I have been playing with soap again.

 Bamboo Orchid - smells very clean & fresh to me, almost like a beachy forest after the rain. |  Persimmon - smells a little spicy & mildly reminiscent of frankincense (to me anyway) with just a hint of perfume. |
This time I actually edited the photos before posting them, so not only can you see the soaps clearly, but you can also get a glimpse of their actual colors. (Although the Bamboo Orchid is a little bluer than the pic, but this is pretty damned close.)
So yeah, been shaving bars of soap. Loving that instead of sewing my finger while making soap sachets, I've been peeling my knuckles & thumbs with the soap.
With any luck, all my boys will start feeling better soon. I got the Squab back to school today & the Chicken will be going back to school tomorrow. If the universe is benevolent, they'll be able to stay in school for more than a few months before getting sick again.
Okay, I'm going to head off to the shower & hope that I can keep my eyes open long enough to eat dinner. I hope you've all been having a wonderful week & that the yucky sick bugs that are flying around don't hit you & yours.
