I'm back & I missed you! Did you miss me?
Well, I've been working like a semi-rabid nut gatherer lately & have finished two new pieces that I should be posting here withing the next couple of days. I also have another "Crafting for a Cause" piece that I hope to have finished, along with a special blog post, within the next week or so.
Currently, my poultry (aka the Squab & his lil' bro the Chicken) is on Spring Break right now, so I do not dare think that I'll be very productive until the schools agree to take them back. Gee, a week is a long time when you have male children. I hope I survive.
Anyway, I just wanted to catch you/me up. Both my little fowl are on the road to close to full health. Chicken's pneumonia is gone, as well as the flu, sinus infection, bronchitis & stomach bug. Squab's bronchitis is on its way out, though the cough does not want to go. With any luck, they'll both be 100% healthy by the time the school year ends.
Now some of you, specifically the ones who are bored, net surfing & happened to stumble upon this randomly, may be wondering why I have not mentioned my husband/business partner/older than me & I never let him forget it companion, yet. Well, the answer is simple, he does not want me to use his real name & I have not been able to come up a birdie themed 'code name' for him. I say "birdie themed" because well, I call my oldest "the Squab" as a result of a bit (from a tv show) we both loved & I call my youngest "the Chicken" because, well I don't remember, but he's been my Chicken for as long as he's been able to talk. So I figured I'd stick with that theme.
Anyway, I will be diligently working to find the appropriate winged animal name for my other half & present it to you upon approval (mine that is). In the meantime, I will be attempting to create new pieces, do a bit of revamping on the website & try very hard not duct tape my children to chairs.
