Recently, I was given the opportunity to preview Mahe's (that's the fabulous lady behind all that Altered Upcycling goodness) newest book, "Adventures in Mixed Media A step-by-step guide to creating beautiful pieces of art". Let me just tell you, this thing is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only does it have detailed instructions & incredible pictures, but it has lists! I'm a sucker for a good list. Trust me, this is not one of those books that tells you exactly what you need to use, with no wiggle room. On the contrary, this is more of an outline, with suggested elements & lots of room to wiggle your crafty little heart out. Tons of ideas & all kinds of inspiration.
Seriously, did you know that you can make jewelry out of soda cans? Well, you can do that & so much more. So, go to Mahe's website, Facebook page, YouTube channel or Amazon to check out all the awesome ways you can give new life to those often overlooked bits. Make sure you tell her I sent you!
