Frog Hop? No, Blog Hop.

Recently I was asked/invited to participate in a blog hop.  I've heard of them, but never really paid much attention, as I am generally disinterested in things that require much reading.  Honestly, it's not that I don't like to read, because I do, I just have a hard time concentrating for long periods of time (by long periods I mean anything over two minutes) if my mind & body are not on the same plane.
Anyway, this is my basic understanding of a blog hop. Somebody comes up with a few questions or a topic to write about.  Then this person, we'll call him/her 'Blogger Zero' will choose a number of other bloggers to join them.
Provided these bloggers agree, Blogger Zero will then write a post & provide in it, links to the other (Round One) bloggers' blogs.  These bloggers in turn will choose other willing bloggers & write about the chosen topic/answer the questions & choose more (Round Two) bloggers to participate & link to, thus expanding the circle. Think of it like a pyramid scheme, only with words.

Here's a graphic to better illustrate my understanding.

Lookie! I made a pyramid chart! Proud of myself I am.

So like I said, I was invited to participate & in the interest of stepping out of my little cocoon of comfort, I said yes.  The format for this one is answering four questions.  So here goes.  *I guess some bloggers post pics, but you're not that lucky this time, as I currently have no pics to post. Sorry!*
(My answers are in green.)

1. How does my creative process work?  Process?  I don't have one.  Unless you call doing whatever feels right a process.

2. WHY do I do what I do?  Why do you breathe?  Why do birds sing?  I do it because I have to, because I can, because it is woven into the core of my very soul.

3. How does my work differ from others in it’s genre?  Is my work in a genre?  I don't know how to classify it other than handmade with love.  If anything it differs because I made it & not someone else.

4. What am I working on at the moment? Currently I am working on at least six different pieces (for the winners of my birthday giveaway).  I'm also trying to come up with ideas for things that might actually sell.

So there you have it.  Now I will list the other bloggers that I have agreed to do this with me.  But first, I'll link you to Janelle at Hands and Harts, who got me into this in the first place.

Here is Mokihana's blog.  This is one of my favorite ladies & my sister at heart (because we share the same Aloha Spirit).

Magenta Rose's blog is here & you can also peek at her fabulous fabric designs & chair painting escapades.

Aloha hugs until later my loves,
~Clare

Finding a topic is always a hard one for me too. Hence the frequent quote, picture & (now) pin fests. ;)
I'm sure now that your pace is slowed down due to the "empty nest", you'll have plenty of opportunities to stir those creative juices.
