So right now, as I type this, the males in my house are watching the Superbowl. To this I say "Eh". I hold no great love for football. In fact, it is a widely known fact that the only time I enjoy watching the game is when my Chicken is on the field. Then, I can become the most rabid football fan in the universe. Ask anyone on the team (parents & grandparents included) I am loud, oblivious (as I still know nothing about the game even after 17 years of marriage to a die-hard fan & 2 sons playing) & extremely proud. Not just of the Chicken, but the whole team.
Okay, now to the point. I mentioned earlier that I have 2 boys (well, technically I have 5, but I get hassled when I don't distinguish between the 2 boy pōpoki (cats) & the 1 adult boy).
The oldest of my 2 human, adolescent boys is The Squab. He is 15 & amazing. He is sarcastic, random, creative, imaginative & tall. In short, physically he is his father, mentally he is me.
Squab is into making movies. Well not just movies, but pretty much anything you can do with a video camera. He has an imagination that is "on" 24/7. He dreams from the point of view of a director/writer/actor/movie fan/critic. He picks apart camera footage on television shows. He is a movie.
So, while I am here hiding from the sounds of football, I am surfing the net & I run across a page on brainyquote.com that is devoted to quotes about movies. I picked the few below, because they reminded me of my Squab.
