Metaphorical brush fires

“Anything that creates a spark is going to start, potentially, a big brush fire.”  -Victor Hill
I stumbled upon the above quote while looking for something profound referencing creation.  Immediately when I saw it, I knew it was exactly what I wanted for this post.  You see, I've had a bit of a productive week, despite feeling like I was lost in a (to quote that great fictional philosopher Yukon Cornelius) "fog as thick as peanut butter".

It started when I was sitting in my CoW (remember the Cave of Wonder?) feeling blocked & sorry for myself.  Suddenly, I picked up a piece I had started, literally years ago, that I figured I had finished.  It occurred to me that it needed something else, so I went with it.  The next thing I knew, not only had I completed that piece, but I had done the same thing to another piece previously started & "finished".  Then I started & finished an entirely new piece!  Heavens I was on a roll!

So, in the spirit of blah, blah, blah I decided to brag a bit.  Because it is my right as sole reader & contributor to this blog.  Just kidding, I know at least one of my friends (whom I hold incriminating information on) is reading.

Okay, so temporarily dropping the ramble to pop in a few pics of the newest pieces posted.

Alright, now that I got those out of the way, I can concentrate on my next evil plot.  Okay, it isn't exactly evil, but it could be!

I have decided that I am going to attempt to chronicle my progress in creating a new wreath.  I say attempt, because I am not very good at remembering stuff & things, so remembering to stop & take pics of every step will be a big challenge.  Especially considering I decided to do this just now & have already started the wreath.

Never fear though, I am not that far into it & will gladly, for your enjoyment, take it apart & start over.  I just need to decide if I want to show it all in one post, similar to a tutorial or if I want to break it up & show it in bits through several posts.

Any suggestions?

I think that whether you have one post or several depends on exactly how long your tutorial turns out. It also depends on how much you want to tantalize and tease us. I like these three pieces and the memo board is my favorite.

Take lots and lots and lots of pics without worrying too much, then you can sort through and pick the ones that make sense... does that help? I am here to cheer you on!!! :-)

Thank you for the encouragement ladies!
And yes, I am glad my brat of a sister reads my blog. ;) Just adds further proof that my children's mother has the best big sister ever.
