I am happy yo say that all of my soaps are now beautifully ensconced in various glass containers & sitting on the window sill in the CoW. Look, I even took a picture with my ACTUAL CAMERA for you.
We all know that I'm not only easily amused, pleased, tickled pink &/or confused, so it should come as no surprise that I love seeing this every time I enter my CoW. (What I will not show you is the thing covered window seat just below & in front of the window, which is currently home to the Double Decker Lazy Susan full of glitter, crafting nail polish, bead jars, most of my scissors collection in a beer stein from Germany, all of my colored pencils & glue & soooooo much more.)
Believe it or not, as much as I adore having a "Window Soap" collection, I found something more beautiful today as I was shaving the last bar of soap. (Blackberry Vanilla in case you're wondering.) It's actually the reason I picked up the camera camera & not my cell phone, which admittedly is what I use for most of the pics I take.
Anyway, I wanted to share with you absolutely simple beauty in these pieces of soap that decided to go against the rest of the pieces. Honestly, probably more than 96% of the pieces I shaved off this bar just came off in sheets.
I feel a sort of kinship with these soap curls. Because even though all of the pieces I shaved are beautiful, these are more than that, they're unique. Just like you. Just like me.
I think one of the keys to leading a happier life is to realize, that we are all beautiful in our own ways. There is beauty (& joy) all around us, in everything. We just have to learn to look for it.
Until sometime later, I leave you m'luvs to contemplate the beauty in your life.
Aloha hugs,
-Clare
