How to iron your spouse's shirt in twelve easy steps

Step One: Have spouse complain that he/she has to iron shirt
Step Two: Ignore spouse until the iron is set up & ready to go
Step Three: Allow spouse to begin ironing his/her own shirt
Step Four: Wait for spouse to have halt of shirt ironed
Step Five: Offer to finish ironing shirt for spouse
Step Six:  Pull sleeve of shirt taught to prepare for ironing
Step Seven: Gently but quickly place iron on your thumb (or finger of choice) as you attempt to iron sleeve
Step Eight: Squeal daintily yet forcefully as the hot metal burns your flesh
Step Nine: Calmly but quickly place iron upright on ironing board & run to nearest source of cold running water
Step Ten: Place burnt appendage under cold running water as spouse fetches ice for your burnt appendage
Step Eleven: Apologize to spouse for not finishing as you silently cry at the minor burn on your appendage
Step Twelve: Thank spouse for finishing as you watch him/her finish ironing the shirt
